Warner Fences Canterbury recently supplied and installed pedestrian management fencing at the Christchurch International Airport (CIAL) as part of their ongoing upgrade. Back in 2010, Warner's supplied and installed 120 metres of the same fencing in the long term car parking area. The quality of the previous work gave the airport complete confidence to work with Warner's again for the upgrade of the external areas around the airport as seen in the images above. The areas needed fencing thatdirected pedestrians and kept them safe while still fitting with the look and feel the airport wanted to achieve. Due to the many
underground services around the airport, CIAL prefer to do any digging themselves using a "sucker truck" to create the holes for the posts and to avoid the risk of shovels and other tools damaging cables and pipes. The team at Warners Canterbury were happy to work with CIAL on this to ensure the preparation and installation process went as smoothly as possible. Warner Canterbury are extremely proud of the work completed at the airport and look forward to working with CIAL on future
projects and developments.
