The Mangatawa Housing Settlement in the Bay of Plenty needed fencing and gates to provide security and safety without compromising the look and feel of the development. Kevin Gardyne from Warner Fences Bay of Plenty worked with the developers to achieve this. One requirement of the project was automatic gates to stop children from running onto a busy nearby road, the pedestrian gates in particular had to be child proof to ensure safety and security. The road on which the entrance gates were located also had some camber and so the bottom of the gates had to be sloped to stay above the road surface. Kevin and his team worked with the developers and kept them regularly updated to ensure the project ran smoothly and was completed on time and budget. The finished project meets the original brief of providing security and safety while also creating a positive and welcoming first impression of the residential development.
