Peter Thomas of Warner Fences Otago was contacted by Fulton Hogan Central Ltd who had been contracted by the local council, to design, supply and install fencing for the Queenstown treatment plant. The plant was on the Frankton waterfront and needed to be secured. The pump station was on the Frankton walkway so the fencing needed to be high enough to keep pedestrians, children and dogs out. The fencing also needed to have removable posts and panels (pictured bottom left) on the front section to allow for the cleaning and maintenance of the filter screens. The custom design and manufacture of the removable front panels was no issue for Warners.
Because our fencing is manufactured right here in New Zealand, we could easily make a custom solution for the treatment plant without complication or delay. This project is a great example of a custom solution that looks great while still being practical and secure.
