Wellington Girls College in the central city wanted to replace their existing solid fencing with something more welcoming and that better reflected how they felt part of their local community. The school approached Warner Fences Wellington and initially were unsure of what style of fence they wanted. Peter Ferguson from Warner's Wellington presented a proposal with three different styles of fence with the pros and cons of each.
The school board chose aluminum tubular fencing in a Sherwood III profile, powder coated black. This provided safety and security while still creating a sense of openness and connection to the local community. The project had a very quick turnaround time, the school wanted the fencing to be completed over the Christmas school holidays so that students and staff returned in the new school year to the newly completed fencing.
This was no issue for the team at Warner's, because our fencing is made right here in New Zealand, our manufacturing facility quickly and
efficiently made the fencing. The installers could then do their job without delay, allowing the project be completed on time and to budget. On completion, many members of the school board and the staff commented on how great the new fencing looked and wondered why they hadn't done it sooner.
